E Braun & Co

Not happy. Between my Mother and I, we have ordered at least 14 complete sets of custom luxury bedding from E Braun Beverly Hills in the last 5 years. Flat sheets, fitted sheets, duvet covers, shams, neck rolls, boudoir, inserts, etc. My most recent order of Amandie was something i saw on the E Braun New York website. Since I have been loyal to the Beverly Hills store, I ordered it from the owner, knowing as usual it would take 3-4 months to get after the deposit is made. The owner received the bedding and had it shipped to me There were immediate issues I noticed: 1) buttonholes sewed shut in one of the duvet covers 2) Three custom sized 36" x 36" shams that had embroidery only on 2 corners instead all of four; There was no photo of embroidered shams on the website, they were plain. Saleswoman never discussed this with me when I placed the CUSTOM order. Owner claimed after I had received and washed them that that's the way they make that pattern. Couldn't be fixed - had to be remade - would be more expensive but she would give me a one time 50% discount on them. I don't think so! 3) the duvet covers had a flange on the duvet covers according to Liz the owner (that is not able to be seen on the NY website). These never should have been delivered to me with those issues. The owner in my opinion should have checked everything first and had the issues fixed prior to sending them. Isn't that what you can reasonably expect as a customer? For the owner to take the time to check to see whether your items have been made correctly? I love the Amandie embroidery pattern, and that isn't the point. Liz refused to make good on redoing the duvet covers at her expense - despite them looking like none of the other duvet covers we have ever ordered from them - all of which were flangeless. She claimed the flange shows in the picture currently on the NY website. It does not to my eyes or my personal assistant's eyes or my housekeeper's eyes. Really unimpressed. This is not what I expect in terms of customer service to a loyal customer. Customers should be able to deal with people who take responsibility, even if it costs the owner their profit on items to make it right. I want to point out to others looking to purchase luxury linens the lacking points in my experience with E Braun Beverly Hills.

A gorgeous shop with a fantastic selection of luxury bath accessories, bedding and linens. Gracious and very helpful staff. Highly recommended!
