        While The Standard was ( as of Jan 22nd 2021 ) a hotel located on the Sunset Strip it became glorified by the numerous young patrons visited the hotel for various occasions or which celebrity that was known to frequent the bars located in the hotel. The rooms were reminiscent of a 70's throw bac style both in design and comfort lack of seating and towels found in a Motel 6 is less than standard. If budget accommodations is what you were seeking rather than to see or be seen there are several other choices located steps away from The Standard that are far more comfortable and luxurious for a quarter of the price. Rest in peace to The Standard hopefully another hotel will open in your place that will offer some style , comfort and class.
