We had Oscar do a stucco job for us and I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. It took a couple days to knock it out and they did it with attention to detail and maintained a very tidy workspace the entire time. Oscar was also very responsive and communicative with any questions I had and the whole thing was very reasonably priced. First class operation! Highly recommend Godoy Plastering.

Contacted Oscar around October of 2018 to stucco an addition we had built and patch around the new windows. Having dealt with bad contractors in the past, Oscar assured me that he is an honest business that strives to do quality work. In addition, Oscar emphasized to me that if there was anything wrong in the future with the work, he would come out and make things right. His word, at the time, gave me an indication that he WAS the right person for the job. Fast forward around 6 months after the work was completed, the mitered corner foams on the windows started to separate and crack. I contacted Oscar on June 17, 2019 and luckily he responded . Oscar would be there the next day on June 18,2019 to fix the stucco. As a result, I allocated time off from work to be there for him. June 18 comes and he does not show up. After I called him numerous times, He does not answer. I give up. June 26 I texted him to call me... still no response. Finally on July 17, I was able to get a hold of him. He apologized because he was really busy and he wanted me to be happy with their work. I accepted his apology and I told him I would be available July 22, 2019. He told me he would get the materials and be there. July 22,2019: No show. I waited and left multiple voicemails. Nothing. Very upsetting All I want is for the job to be fixed. I have allocated times for him to show up and he does not even bother to let me know he can’t make it. Although he emphasized doing quality work with great customer service, it is not evident here. It is very upsetting to know we paid a substantial amount for subpar work. I will try to attach pictures of the cracking stucco and screenshots of the texts for all to see. If I can’t upload the pictures, please look at my Yelp review to see them. BOTTOM LINE: For those looking for a stucco contractor, search ELSEWHERE please to avoid a situation like this. I will update this review if he ever decides to make things right. UPDATE: Oscar was extremely apologetic and has been working to correct all the issues that were wrong. There was no attitude when I told him about the issues I had with the job and got it done. Although it took almost a year to fix the issues due to scheduling, I appreciated how he did not complain about the problems nor give any attitude and fixed the issues. I hope his work will stand the test of time and there will never be leaks. And if more issues were to arise in the future that he will respond in the same manner and fix them. Thank you again Oscar!
