Yay there's another location located near my parent's house! It's run by a sweet family - mother, father and daughter. These noodles are different from a typical bibymnaengmyun. They are potato instead of arrowroot, but don't worry it's still chewy and stringy! What's so great about this is that you get unlimited beef broth. mMmMmMmm. I literally come here for the beef broth. Between the free unlimited beef broth & side dishes, you'll get full for under $10 :)

I have been a loyal customer to Ham Hung for over 15 years now. When I worked in Diamond Bar, I would frequent so often, that I once forgot my wallet – and they said just pay next time I come in. That’s the relationship I had with this place; a relationship that is now over. I live now in Indianapolis, but the couple times a year we return to CA, we always visit this establishment. Today I took my sister and brother in law for the first time. We drove from Rialto (40 minutes) to have lunch here. We ordered our typical items, Bulgogi, Dak Bulgogi and Yukgaejang all lunch special items. I ordered 5 total entrees for the 4 of us adults and 2 kids to share. All was fine (except for an ant in the water and service where we had to ask for items such as water frequently) until we received the bill. The waitress apparently thought we wanted the standard meals, not the “lunch specials”; despite it being 1PM, right in the middle of their lunch-special window. So instead of a $50 bill I was expecting, I instead received a $95.00 bill. I explained I was wanting the lunch special, and all the waitress said was “I assumed you wanted the other.” I explained that perhaps she should of asked which we wanted if she was unsure, and she seemed like I was saying something completely insane… like why ask?? I explained to her that her assumption cost me an additional $45, and asked if we could at least split the difference. She was unwilling. I then explained to her that she should not assume people want the most expensive item and simply ask and that because of her mistake I am paying an extra $45. I continued to explain that I had been a loyal customer for over 15 years, but in the end none of it mattered. I paid the bill, left 0 tip and informed them politely I will never eat here again, thus ending a very long relationship over a simple misunderstanding that the waitress made; and I was willing to meet on half-way. I feel if you are taking an order, and someone says “bulgogi” and you have two items, one lunch special the other the normal dish, if it’s during lunch hours, you should assume either they are referring to the lunch special or simply ask. She again felt I was absurd for suggesting she should ask. So long Ham Hung. I will also be letting my 6 friends whom I introduced the restaurant to know never to eat there again as well. You got my extra $45, and have lost hundreds in the long run. I will add, in my anger I left my wallet there and picked it up the next day - they had found it.
