I spoke with Dora M about getting jewelry insurance. She does not answer her phone or call back. She is extremely unprofessional and is a bad look for this business in my opinion. She told me my appraisals were unacceptable and that I needed a receipt in order to get a quote on my items she only asked for a receipt on one item as well as a photo showing the date and time the item was in my possession (I had 4) but not the others. I asked her to call my jeweler so that they could confirm that these items were indeed purchased by the name that was on the appraisal. She did not and continued to say ALL of my items were unacceptable because I did not send a receipt with ONE of the items she requested the receipt for. I believe she assumed I was a scam. But I continued to ask her to CALL THE JEWELRY STORE on the appraisals. Luckily I found a place. HOWEVER and one of the mangers at Massie and Beck insurance was AMAZING. Thank you sir for letting me vent. I do recommend working with him.

I have seldom ever dealt with a company that is as unprofessional as Massie & Beck. I called for quotes for property insurance on three of my homes. The gentleman I spoke to was completely uninformed regarding simple homeowners policies. I was referred to them by a mutual friend and therefore expected nothing but the highest level of service and knowledge!  My initial call was answered by a receptionist who was extremely short with me. She assured me that I would get a phone call back; it took ten working days.  The person who finally called me back was a junior member of the company who was completely unequipped to handle any of my questions! I asked to speak to Mr. Massie or Mr. Beck and was told that they were both on an extended leave?  My summation is that this company is being run by a ghost ship!  I'll take my business and my money and my confidence to another firm!  Beware of these frauds. They have no idea what they are doing.
