A1 Shoe & Luggage Repair

Unfortunately my experience matches all of the others. I would have loved to support a local business but not this one. One that does not value customer service at all or even common decency/ respect quite honestly. A bit of a head scratcher here but no worries there are other options!

Terrible customer service.. the guy first told me one price, I agreed and when I was putting my name and number down for pick up he changed his mind and doubled the price and when I said that I didnt understand the sudden change in price when it was just a simple zipper 5 fix he said take it somewhere else than, and pushed my luggage away while it was on it side.. Not a good first experience

I took my $300 shoes for mild repair. Considering such expensive fee the work was cheap and unprofessional. Definitely not going back. and does not recommend

What an unprofessional employee or owner. Not sure how many people work there but he is the older Asian man. I brought my shoe for an estimate. The elastic on one of my shoes had to be replaced. I brought both shoes so he could see how its supposed to look. (Type of elastic needed for repair.) He gave me a quote. Then I asked if I could see the elastic type he was planning to use. He said he didnt know had to go through his box to see what he could find. No promise it would match my other shoe which didnt need repair. When he said that I became a little concerned. Then I asked if he could guarantee quality work. He got offended and pushed my shoe towards me and said take it somewhere else. I explained that since he cant show me the material he will use and once he does the job thats it. I wanted to ensure that he would guarantee his job because Ill owe for it of course. He then told me: I have been doing this for 40 years. Then I said, ok thats even better for you then you should be able to guarantee your labor will be satisfactory. Then he said again take it somewhere else in a rude manner and pushed the shoe again towards me. This man lacks professionalism. What a cheese guy and rude!!! Now I truly doubted his performance and ability to do any quality work. I happily grabbed my shoes and left knowing this guy is a joke and needs to go to manners school. Plus now im sure he is unqualified to do clean/quality work. Im a manage of a store here in WC so I clearly understand very well about proper and satisfactory customer service. Ill ensure I tell other to run away from that business otherwise, you are in for a sour treat! I google his store after I left and his rating is 3.5. Im not surprised!!! Run for your life and stay away of stores like this.I guess he doesnt need the business!!!I I already found another shoe repair with 5 stars here in the area!
