My mom was in the hospital at 6pm for a car accident. They didn't let me in or let me have any details until almost 8pm. They then told me, just a CT Scan and you will be out of here. Two hours later they put an IV in my moms arm and send her to wait. After another hour I ask to make sure we haven't been forgotten where I was told "don't worry, it's a slow night only about an hour wait left" so she waited two hours with an IV in her arm. I asked for pain medication for her as she was in a car accident, where I was told "we will tell the doctor." We never saw this doctor or got pain medication for my mother who was in a car accident. It took until almost 1am to get a CT Scan where they then said it would be another 30 minutes for results. Results that didn't come until after 2am. Other patients had the same issues with not getting medications and not being able to see a doctor. Personally, I'd rather pass away then go through this again, which if this was life threatening, I would have anyway.
