Ventura County Overhead Door

BEWARE, BEWARE, BEWARE of Ventura overhead. They charge an enormous amount of money for their services, parts amd labor. I had a spring replaced on 11/29/22 and they carged me $675!. Took one hour. Only part was the spring. like an idiot, out of curiousity, I checked two other garage door conpanies the next day that service Ventura and they would have charged 385 to 480. Overhead gave a one MONTH guarantee. The other companies - 5 years! When I called the next day (Jennifer, manager) to inquire why are you so dissporportionally high they gave no reason at all. No offer for any partial refund, no credit for future repairs, nothing. When you get a door or have a needed repair - shop around! You will save hundreds of dollars. And if I were you, never use this company. Way way too expensive.

The company I work for used Overhead Door for some major gate work, including installation of a new operator. We are satisfied with the work they performed. We are currently in need of some minor repair work, and because of their familiarity of our gates, they would be a logical choice. Unfortunately, they stated they would charge us $195 for them to come spend 10 minutes (tops) to see what needs to be done. Being a company, I am required to get at 3 estimates for consideration. Having spent close to $10,000 to Overhead Door for repairs/installations, the estimate charge is absurd and a deal breaker. They are good, but not that good.

I had my original wooden garage door replaced VC Overhead Door. They were very professional and did an excellent job without having to make modifications. I would definitely recommend them if you need a garage door replaced.

Showed late with wrong parts, hacked cabinets (while mounted with a sawsal). Installer had no idea how to program. After a few months came off track. Sent out the top installer who cut cabinets more and now one doesnt open at all blocked by different track. Came off track and locked up few months later. Jennifer I guess the owner rude and little concern/ plenty of things that have gone south with this company so called different company to receive second opinion came to conclusion wrong spring for door and had worn track. They did what they could to relieve tension. Called Ventura Overhead back, they sent manager and another supposedly top tech out and took pictures said they would look into spring strength number. Never called back. I would not recommend this company to install a screen Door.
