      image I discovered this amazing gem of a Jewish Synagogue a few years ago when I found myself in Ventura, CA for the High Holy Days. I was raised in a Reform Temple and had a huge misconception about the differences between that and Conservative. I have to share that Rabbi J.B. Sacks offers the most meaningful, relevant and spiritual Jewish experience I have ever had. I strongly suggest you check out Congregation Am Hayam if you live anywhere near Ventura County. You will instantly feel welcome and at home. This is a very special place.
