I spoke with a rep on 4/26, on this day she was able to give me motivation, and some confidence on my next steps through finding an employer. I was excited about my visit and having someone to support me because finding work was becoming a challenge for me. The rep did asked me to adjust my resume, and gave me some better examples to use and wanted the new resume sent to her by that Sunday or Monday. She then let me know she would reach back out to me by Monday. (Back story) I was at my previous employer for 13 years.. building a resume wasn’t something I had to do before, so it was a huge challenge, but I took it on. I was so excited after my meeting and sat for nearly 3 hours trying to perfect it. Once complete, I sent the resume to her on Sunday expecting to hear from her Monday. I was very proud of the work I did. That Monday I did not hear from her, but I didn’t want to jump in and bother her if she had other clients she was working with. On Wednesday I called, with no reply, then Thursday I emailed her, she did respond saying she would call me with in the next half hour.. and again never heard from her. Now it’s May 14th, and I still haven’t heard from her.. I just want to put out my experience.. and hope no one has to go through the same. Searching for a job can be demotivating and support can be helpful. I just wish that’s what I got. On that note Good luck on your employment search! ❤️ I’m still searching.
