Upon arrival, I immediately felt like the restaurant was very charming in it's rustic-chic aesthetic and antique decor. There were several items featured on the menu that sounded delicious, and overall seemed like reasonable pricing. Unfortunately, the experience was something I would describe as: uncomfortable, to put it mildly. We had a very bad experience with a waitress by the name of Stephanie. It began when we ordered our drinks. Being 23, I get asked to show my ID from time to time. Instinctually, I pull out my ID and place it on the table, at which point, she looks at me, laughs, and says, "that won't be necessary" in an extremely condescending tone. My friends and I just kinda stared at each other awkwardly for a second, until she walked away. After she brought our bread, we noticed we didn't have a knife to spread the butter or any napkins for our drinks. After finally catching her attention, she comes over to the table. As I begin to ask for a knife and some napkins, she cuts me off, saying "you seem a bit needy." Slightly taken aback, I quickly apologized and asked if I could please have some napkins and a butter knife. She rolled her eyes and said, "i guess." After several other unpleasant interactions, we were beginning to feel too awkward to bear it, anymore. We assumed it was some sort of weird attempt at humor but, it came across as incredibly rude. At this point, we asked to pay for our drinks, and left.
