MOMS BE WARNED!!!! THIS BUSINESS IS UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP AND COMPLETELY UNRELIABLE!!!!
I had Elsa and Anna characters booked for my daughters birthday...deposit paid and THREE confirmation emails sent back and forth with Dayna, the new owner....they still NO SHOWED to her birthday party. To top it all off, the day of the party Dayna’s phone happened to fall in water, the business line also happened to be not working, all social media messages went unanswered...she was just completely unreachable in any way possible!
I've waited over a week to write this review in hopes that the business owner would take responsibility for her actions by reimbursing me for the upcharge on last minute entertainment I scrambled to get instead, but all I got was "I'm so sorry, I booked it wrong" and an offer to have Elsa come to our house instead- which I obviously refused as I never wish to do business with Dayna again.
I get it, mistakes happen....but to still mess up after THREE confirmations from my end is just pure carelessness and says a lot about the way this company is run now that Amy Jo (previous owner) is unfortunately gone.
Yes the performers are great, but I would strongly caution any parents from booking with Dayna due to her negligence and irresponsibility.
As parents we all try hard to make our kids birthday parties as special as possible, but our day was completely ruined and my daughter spent the majority of her party in tears. Trust your special day to another company.
UPDATE: changing my 1 star to a 5 star (wish I could give more) thanks to wonderful new ownership by Ally! so apparently after the situation described above, Amy Jo, the original owner of the company took it back from Dayna and re-sold it to Ally. As soon as she took over Ally contacted me to apologize for everything that happened even though it wasn’t her fault at all. She offered to come over and make it up to my daughter for free...so last week she came by as “Elsa” and entertained my daughter and a few of her girlfriends at home for an hour. She was absolutely amazing! The girls had so much fun!!! Very lively and warm personality, fun games, totally tailored everything to them as their interests changed throughout the hour and best of all the most incredible sivoice ever! Everything was perfect and I am so grateful for her generosity to drive many miles from OC to LA just to do this for us when again none of it was her fault...but that’s called great customer service and we can’t wait to use her services again in the future for all our character parties! Thank you again Ally!!!
