Needed a few 1G SFPs urgently for a failed part (and sparing) but had a lead time from our usual supplier that we just could not suffer the service degradations to wait for.
Went looking and found Linxit had the Cisco compatible optics needed in stock with expedited shipping options available. I hadn't heard of Linxit, but seemed worth a try given our immediate need.
A quick call to customer service confirmed the part I had in cart was correct for my environment and that they would ship out that very day once the order was placed.
I received my order within two days as promised. My items were safely packaged with care. More importantly, the transceivers passed traffic successfully right upon swapping out the faulty pluggable optic. We were pleasantly surprised by the ease of use and quality, to say the least, and are extremely happy we took a chance. Great customer service was the cherry on top.
While an emergency led us to Linxit, we're glad to have found a new supplier for our fiber hardware needs.
