There is no substitute for a locally-based expert who knows and tracks the quality care and comfort of assisted living and memory care centers. The highly-advertized computer-based searches are not helpful. In Orange County, California, Donna could show us and tell us about the realities behind and beyond the appearance and marketing strategies of a place and focus on what would be best, most practical decision.

Looking for a loved ones forever home can be beyond stressful. I quickly found myself looking for a place for my older sister who is 85. Like most elderly people she really wanted to stay in her own home. I had been trying for almost a year to have her go and look at some places , but she refused. A bad fall with a fractured hip and tail bone made it so she had no choice. I had gone on line and looked at a few places, most of which referred you to a marketing agency who basically gave your phone number out to several places and then they called you. Then the good Lord sent me an angel, Jaime, from American Senior home finders. I told her my situation and gave her a list of things I was looking for like square footage, can they go from assisted living to memory care in the same place, what are the costs for service..etc etc. Trust me I had an excel sheet that had all my questions on it. I sent it to Jamie and within a few days she sent me several places .That met the needs I was looking for. I told her which ones I would like to go see and she arranged the meeting. But to my surprise...she also went with me to tour them. Time was a major factor and we hit 4 of them in one day. I ended up choosing Oakmont of Escondido, a very nice place. Jamie has called me several times to insure everything is going well. Always offering her assistance. I just can't say enough about how fortunate I was to have her helping me. Look no further and call Jaime, she is a really nice lady who is , compassionate and knowledge . You will be glad you did. Kathy M.

Donna helped us find a facility for respite that we build a relationship with. Unfortunately they became short staffed and we had to find another place. Yet again Donna helped me with the process. She also checks in with you to make sure everything is going well. If anyone ever asks for help with care, I always recommend to reach out to American Senior Home Finders. They take the stress out of the process.
