I was an applicant from Canada looking to find a job in the States.
I applied for the job and they were very nice and found me a company that saw my resume and wanted to discuss my credentials. I was told that the company was eager to see me. I was told not to contact the company since that puts the agency at a risk of losing their commission (fair enough).
It turns out though, that Interplace told that particular company that I was coming down for a "Vacation" and wanted to drop by to see what they have available.
Had a terrible interview since they had nothing lined up for me and they gave me no backup information about the particular position either (since there was none).
I spoke to that company as well and they told me that Interchange is a simple recruit agency that focuses on "Quantity over Quality", hoping that if they throw enough jobs at enough companies, the ones that succeed will bring in commission.
If you insist on going through them, always question yourself about the promises they make.
Spent $1200 on this trip and came back with nothing but regret.
