I would stay away from this Doctor.  I had a very dangerous experience with her, and plan to report her to the board, and anyone else I can find who is in charge of allowing people to have a legal license to practice prescribing medicine to vulnerable people who are putting their trust in them.  After she was made aware of the situation in our family, by two members, she didn't even ever call us back to check in to make sure the person under her care was alright.  Not only is she unethical, but also incredibly uncaring!

Terrible receptionist, not very compassionate. Perhaps a trickle down behavior from the doctor herself.

This doctor is an unprofessional QUACK!! She proscribed and SSRI and a week later I told her that I had severe ringing in my ears (tinnitus). She got mad and said that is impossible. She had been prescribing that medication for years and no one ever reported it. Now I have PERMANENT, medication induced tinnitus. When I try to make an appointment to go see her the rude receptionist tells me she is all booked. When I ask for the next available appointment she says she is booked so far out and cannot tell but will call me (lie). Well, no call back ever. Also there is no patient confidentiality in the waiting room. Patients should have private entrance and exit but everyone sits in the same room. I always have to wait 15 - 20 minutes for my 10 minute appointment. She keeps looking at the clock while you are talking and felt like a cattle call. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.

When you're in your appointment Dr. Raghavan is wonderful! Listens compassionately and gives feedback, which is nice. However, whenever I was in crisis and left messages, I never got called back by her. Sometimes not at all. And when I felt ready to go off of psych meds, her protocol was insufficient and too fast. 30 years on psych meds and she had me off of Cymbalta in two months, with horrible side effects and no support. She told me I would be fine in two weeks; it's been a month and a half and I'm still in crisis. I've seen several MDs since she took me off so quickly and all have told me it was too fast! I won't go back to see her because I no longer trust her. Everything I've read online says to go slowly getting off Cymbalta, but when I told her this she told me not to believe what's online, that she knew better.  Perhaps Dr. R should do MORE online research and expand her knowledge and reduce her arrogance.
