Athletic Society - Westlake Village

I joined during COVID because they had a outdoor gym. When they moved some equipment inside, nobody wore masks and they didnt enforce people wearing masks. Stopped going immediately on ethical grounds. Called four months ago to cancel my membership and they told me I had to come in and get a signature. Ive been extremely busy in my business and havent made it over there. Also really didnt want to go into that unmasked place. I bought my general manager an equinox membership immediately when I found out he was working out everyday and they continuously were not enforcing masks. My general manager walked in to cancel, and no signature was required. Just called and cancelled my membership over the phone when we told them they didnt require a signature to cancel memberships. $400 down the drain due to their dishonesty. I hope they call me and refund me when they see this.

Best gym I have ever been a member at. Best equipment, great staff, 2 fullsize hardwood courts.. 10/10!!

Love this gym. Has everything. They have a pool, basketball court, spin room, great weight room, steam room, sauna, and more.

What happened to this place? It has really become run down. Never any towels, carpet stains throughout, staff members who dont even sit at the front desk to provide any service or security. Try coming by on Sunday afternoon and you can find both of the employees kicking back watching football, one of whom is entertaining her boyfriend and couldnt be bothered to assist or greet a long standing member of this place. Time to look elsewhere!
