I hate it when people say to trust them. I do not know them – why would I trust them. But…from the first call – I knew this was where I wanted to go. I was so scared to tell my Dad I needed help – so I probably called in 20 times over three months. Finally, Phil said he would call my Dad with me. Long story short – with the pandemic and all – my Dad was so cool but did not think now was the right time due to Covid. I thought it was over and I might never get help. When we hung up my Dad and I had a real talk for the first time in years. I cried like a baby. Two days later, I was admitted to Inland Detox. I am feeling hopeful but unsure as I leave to go home. I have a great plan I hope to follow. I can’t say if I will never even drink again, but for now I am committed to not use anything – one day at a time. Phil – you saved my life dude.
