Country Gourmet

Coffee was good. Place was clean and busy. Same price as top full-service restaurants within 15 minutes. This isnt full service. You are actually paying extra here to help the owner save money in several ways. I would go to a top full-service restaurant over this. The tip was built in but they still tried to get me to leave more. How do I know ? The price was same as post tip at top full-service restaurant. My toast was not buttered to save them time and would have caused me great pain to do it myself, they asked if I needed anything else and I said more coffee and he ignored that. I saw him go right to to doing something else ignoring the coffee request. I had to ask someone else. I would choose fast food restaurant before returning to expensive half-service restaurants like this. This is limited half service for same price as full service.

The biscuits and blueberry coffee cake are AMAZING here. Great restaurant. I grew up coming to this restaurant. I'm older now and recently went with my mom and sister on Mother's day. We got right in and had a delicious breakfast. The owner is so sweet and kind. She walked around and offered chocolate covered strawberries! The service and staff was very good. I'm so glad this place is still here.

Grew up in Los Altos and visited Country Gourmet regularly. Always one of my favorite places to eat. Today made so many memories of great food come true again!
