Kumon has helped my two kids excel in both subjects, reading and math. After 5 years with Kumon, my daughter finished her reading program. Both Language art and math are not the difficult subjects in her high school years at all. My son started Kumon at very early age ( 3 and a half years old). Now he finished the Kumon reading program and is at the last level of math program. My kids learned not only the fundamentals of both math and language arts, but several life skills that I am sure they will use in their future. Kumon teaches them how to persevere and exemplify vast amounts of patience especially with the teaching style that it provides. Curriculum encourages memorization so the students are able to use these skills in real life. The instructors are able to deliver constant feedback and criticism to students without sugarcoating their words so that the kids know what they need to improve on and what is already sufficient Mr. and Mrs. Tran really know how to help their students since they learn each individual kid's needs. I really appreciate their dedication on our kids.

After five years of being with Kumon, I have a deep level of respect and appreciation for the hard work and patience that Mr. and Mrs. Tran have put in to help my kids get better. Learning and growth take time and seeing Kumon results is no different. What I love about this program is that Mr. and Mrs. Tran have not only helped my children do well academically, but have helped them become more confident and patient learners who are not afraid to independently take on new challenges inside and outside of Kumon. One of the main reasons why my kids have excelled academically is because Mr. and Mrs. Tran set high expectations for them and continually encourage them to achieve their potential, some people may view this as being "strict," but the Kumon environment at this center has shown me that true growth happens when children are challenged to go beyond what they think they can do. The incremental nature of the Kumon program has also really helped my kids find balance between their schoolwork, other activities, and Kumon work because the instructors do not overburden them with work, but rather give them a personalized amount that fits their pace and level of mastery. This has also been a successful program for my family because it is a collaborative effort between parents, children, and the instructors, meaning that there is an open channel of communication between us (I always know what my kids are working on and how they are doing). All in all, I deeply believe that this program is a great choice for children who are open to change.. both on an academic and work ethic level. And Mr and Mrs. Tran have changed my kids to the better and have instilled in them positive attitudes and skills that I KNOW my kids will use for the rest of their lives.
