I just went online to order a home inspection from Tony and found the below review. As a realtor I have to say that if you are hiring someone to inspect air conditioners, you need to hire an a/c inspector and not a home inspector. Home inspectors only look over the units to make sure they turn on and off and blow air. They don't get into the details of the units themselves. I would say their agent should have told them that. I just don't think the review is fair and I would look at the other reviews Tony has. I for one will continue to use Tony and would think twice about it. We ordered a property inspection for a 18,835 SF Medical Office Building in Stockton. Tony delivered a 14-page reports (at least 50 pages expected for this property this size) -- in which 4 pages are title, table of content, etc -- with 4 pictures: 2 of them about the water heaters which we would care less. The information we care most, he did not provide: - There are 12 HVACs on the roof. The report did not show any pictures, the tonnage, brand, age. These are important details that buyer needs to request for seller's credit. Tony reported 2 HVACs not working but did not say which ones. We learned later from the company that does quarterly HVACs service for the building that all 12 HVACs are 20 years old and at the end of life. It would cost about $100,000 to replace them. And yet tony did not say anything nor provide any pictures! - Tony reported cracks in the parking lot but no pictures so we have no ideas how bad the cracks are and what to do about them. We discussed above issues with Tony. He promised to provide pictures -- which we were told he took a lot -- but he never delivered despite the fact we reminded more than once. I guess once Tony received his $1200 fee, he did not care anymore. We have read hundreds of inspection reports from different companies. The report from Kahl Property Inspection Report is the worst. We would give it a F! We regretted hiring Tony to do the inspection. Don't know how he was brave enough to claim to be the best! and don't know how he manages to get a permit to run this business! Hi, I am a first time homebuyer and Mr. Kahl was my home inspector. No words can express how awesome and amazing this man is. My family and I were impressed with his expertise in all areas. Not only did he show you the problem areas. He also explained in great detail why it was a problem and what to do to correct it. Tony is honest and forthcoming. He is a do right type of guy. Mr. Kahl is professional and down to earth. He offers so much more information than I thought I would receive....so bring your writing tablet. If you want the best with Kahl Property Inspection!!! One more thing he also gives you a list of trusted professionals to call to assist you after the inspection. He is also a general contractor!!!!

On time, GREAT explanation of things that some people would think were common sense and all though I am pretty knowledgeable, I am a first time home buyer so it was EXTREMELY helpful. Would recommend anytime!!
