I hired dan to handle my Event Photography. I found him after Googling for a Event photographer and a portrait photographer. I needed a lot of portrait shots from my event and I knew he was a good choice. Every shot was amazing and he got everything done I needed him to.
I would highly suggest Dan Thrift Photography as an excellent Photographer in South Lake Tahoe

Dan and Rebecca are wonderful photographers and people. They spent my son's Bar Mitzvah day with us in Tahoe, shooting portraits, the ceremony, luncheon and party. Dan was great to work with in the months leading up to the event and his work is outstanding, both indoor and outdoor. The photos are stunning, always becoming, and really tell the story of the day, bringing out the feelings and spirit of the event. Dan's background in photojournalism really adds to his work. He makes a fabulous team with Rebecca....they are pros and never miss a single opportunity for a great shot. They are extremely professional, experienced, responible and such nice, caring people. We love our photos!

When I had my wedding in the bay area He traveled out to us and did an amazing job! I couldn't be more happy with the results of his photos and work. He we very professional on time and was a very nice guy. I will be hiring him for any needs in the future and and will be suggesting him to everyone I can!
