Two things I got to say about this place and both are not pleasant. I've been seeing this place for a while and I told myself next time I go to South Lake Tahoe I'm going to get me one of those big Bloody Mary's so I went to the Speakeasy above Dart Liquors. It was closed. The website never said that so strike one. I was determined to go there so I started heading towards the distillery to catch the tour. After reviewing the website again it said the tour started at 7:00. It was 6:30, plenty extra time to get there. Had trouble finding it but it was also closed. Nobody was there but a neighboring business owner said that the person was a A**hole for doing that to customers and was sorry for the representation of South Lake Tahoe. I went to a couple of Brewery's after that and had a Bloody Mary and refused to have that liquor in my cocktail even though it was there standard way of making it. I only gave it one star because I had to too post it. Boooo Tahoe Moonshine!!!!!!

It was not only a wonderful experience but their liquor is out of this world ...so smooth so clean better than a fine expensive wine!! they unusual flaovirs that I tried and again sound strange but were ..well you just have to go and try them all!! Dave the bartender was so knowledgeable about their process of making it and so trying to make them organic etc etc ...taking some home and can nto wait till they can ship up to Wegmans liquor stores up in Rochester NY so all the world can try!! Oh ya even their gin did not bother my husbands GERD!! All I cna say when in south lake tahoe you must give it a try andalso they are called their place the Speakeasy like in the old days and getting into it was FUN!! Thank You for a wonderful tastful sunday afternoon!! Oh and you will like the atmosphere of their place also!!
