Angela Carassa at Proud Brow is my go to gal!! She is very confident, capable, comfortable to be around and is a lot of fun!! She makes you feel right at home and relaxed. She did an absolutely fantastic job microblading my eyebrows, back in December of 2019!! My next appointment is scheduled for March 2020 when I will have my touch-up. She truly does want you to feel good about the service she provide’s and wants her clients to leave her business feeling satisfied!! I live in Contra Costa county and feel the drive is well worth it. Moreover, Angela is professional, extremely kind and patient, plus takes a great deal of time to explain before and during the process of shaping my eyebrows. My brows look very natural, which was extremely important to me!! People who have known me for years look at my eyebrows and are very surprised when I have shared my microblading experience, because they are very natural looking. I teach swim lessons 5-6 days a week for 6 hours a day in a highly chlorinated swimming pool and thank goodness, I am now grateful to be able to throw away my eyebrow pencil(s), thanks to the wonderful Angela Carassa extraordinaire!! Angela is a true artist who takes pride in her profession!! I happily and highly recommend you check her out at Proud Brow, because she is nothing short of magical in her craft!!

Professional, flexible, great communication, direct, and works with integrity. Shariyah is amazing at what she does and affordable. I have been communicating with Shariyah since last year about microblading and cosmetic treatments. I have been a little hesitant and nervous. Finally, this January 2020 (before COVID and after months of communicating with Shariyah), I placed a deposit for a treatment during March 2020. Low and behold, Covid happened and since then, her and I have been communicating about scheduling appointments. I made sure to communicate with her and definitely did not "flake" or not show up to an appointment and expect to be rescheduled. We did reschedule a handful of times, though, and finally, yesterday, I had my appointment. It went wonderfully. The treatment did burn the first day and swelled today, but, with the after care products and directions, my swelling is lessening quickly. I definitely recommend Shariyah. Her work is beautiful. I, also, recommend that if you a leave a deposit and can not make the appointment, contact her ASAP, but, definitely before the day of the appointment. I have done this a few times and it worked out fine.
