The two employees of CFC Mortgage that I dealt with were unprofessional, evasive, unscrupulous and rude. My journey on refinancing our house we have owned for over 24 years started two years ago with Paul Bookey of the Simi Valley office. He put me through the ringer, including 2 appraisals and one re-appraisal, and bank charges of almost $800. Paul informed me that he would re-imburse me for the appraisals. In the end he did not keep his promise. I tried to appeal to his supervisor at CFCMortgage, Tony Markarian, with phone calls and emails, but was ignored, and told that he was too busy to speak with me. What kind of supervisor ignores a call when there is an unhappy client? This is not a business that cares about their customers. I am now happily refinancing our home with a real professional and am very happy.
