This agent is beyond incompetent to the point of fraudulent. After receiving a quote and making a payment based upon that quote, (understanding it might be up to a few hundred more), I received a statement that my insurance was being cancelled in two weeks due to non payment. When I communicated my confusion with this office, I was informed my premium was twice as much as I had expected, $2200 more per year than I thought I'd be paying. Upon learning this, I expressed my frustration with Ruth, Kat's assistant. After a rude and hostile conversation with her, she told me I could cancel my policy by sending a request via email. I responding by requesting to speak directly with Kat. Kat called me that afternoon while I was at work. I told I could not talk at that moment but would call back. I called back daily for the next three days, speaking with Ruth and leaving a message directly on Kat's voicemail. After not hearing back, I wrote an email. I received a short response to my email that my insurance had been cancelled days prior, without my consent, and ten days before it was due to be cancelled due to non payment. I called my previous State Farm agent in another state who said Kat had no idea what she was doing and that if this is the State Farm agent I was assigned, I should seek a different insurance company. This from another State Farm agent who insured not only me for ten years but my mother for over 35 years. Do not go to this women. It is unfortunate that she represents State Farm, which is otherwise an excellent insurance provider. Seek another agent.
