Wow! I can't say good enough things about Todd. He went above and beyond to help me with my computer challenge. I'm so impressed with this dedication and commitment to solve the problem. And his prices are more than fair. I highly recommend him for any computer problems you have. I will definitely be using him in the future.

I took my PC to Tolson Computer Solutions roughly over a month ago. My PC was experiencing overheating and it was slowing down as I ran PC games or a guitar tab online. I explained this to Mr.Tolson as I believed he would be able to fix the issue or at least narrow down what is causing the issue. I left it there roughly a week and he said he was busy with contracts and other computers (which I didn't mind provided it didn't take a month or anything like that). They call me back not much later to say it is repaired. I get billed $180.00 and take it home. Go home start it up and the video is all blue green and red (messed up) I call them to let them know what is wrong and he tells me to come back and he will take a look. Go back, he takes out the Nvidia video card and says something like "youll need to replace the video card now it is done". Go home again, as i ran it for 15min or so running youtube and a guitar tab it started going slow and turning off (exactly like it was before I took it to him). Call and go back again, he has me watch him run a few tabs of youtube as a way to replicate what I do at home for about 15min. Nothing happens, so he says something like "you are doing something different at home because it is fine, try switching power cords or wall outlets". So I go home and do that, still the overheating and powering off. I call and leave a voicemail telling him it is the same and that I would appreciate any help. I get no call back (at least from what I saw). So I give up on trying with him since I wasn't going to beg to at least find out what the real issue is. So, I did a lot of research (a month later) I got it working perfectly as before. A couple hundred dollars later and it was a dying power supply... (bought a simple power supply tester from FRYS) and it showed the PG value was 0. I am disappointed in the service I received as I spent $180.00 just to be exactly where I was at when I took my PC there (not to mention a dead video card that wasn't when I brought it there). I was patient with him, but when it came to me, he offered about 30min to try and remedy what he said was fixed (which wasn't). I gave 2 stars because him and his wife were very nice to me. However, not getting a call back or at least some follow through on a repair that I was saying was still the same is not worth $180.00. Being charged for diagnostics and admitting you don't know what is wrong is one thing, charging me for a repair that wasn't done (overheating that caused the system to slow) is another.
