Bought a lemon from them years ago when I was desperate for for a commuter car, and got the cheapest car I could find for this worker although they charged an exuberant amount over what is was worth as well as knowing it had major problems not cutting a deal knowing I needed that specific type of car that day. Predatory complete waste of space of our community. Whenever Misfortune befalls a community predation and capitalism ensues.

I guess I have to give them one star, only because I am forced to select something... Let me start by saying that this is my first ever post on the internet other than facebook or youtube. I use yelp and other review websites almost daily but have never felt compelled enough to write a review. The crooked and morally vacant souls that run B&L have compelled me to write my first review. Ever heard the saying "He's no better than a used car salesman?" Well this is probably where that saying comes from because these guys are crooks and should be put out of business. I bought an 04 Audi with high mileage (110k) in 2010 from these guys (Cliff was the one who sold it but the owner Dave was involved also). Being as it was a european car with high mileage, I wanted to be sure to purchase a warranty which they said they would gladly provide for $1000. In an attempt to keep this post relatively short I will just touch on the highlights (because the Demand Letter my attorney sent them and the DA's office was about five pages). Fast forward to January 2012 and the transmission in the Audi needs to be replaced. Yes annoying, but I have a comprehensive warranty so no worries right? I call the warranty company to file a claim and come to find out they have no record of me, the VIN number, or B&L ever filing any paperwork whatsoever. I call Dave back at B&L and after getting the run around for a week they tell me that they talked to their "person" at the warranty company and claim they lost my paperwork. They told me not to worry though, because they would refund me the $1000 I paid for the warranty because THEY STILL HAD IT IN THEIR SAFE!!! They had been holding my money this whole time presumably waiting for the 'fake' warranty term to expire so that they could just pocket the money. I immediately stopped talking to them and got a lawyer. We contacted Dave first to see if we could work out a deal, and no such luck. He kept making up excuses and dragging things out so we sent a letter to the Santa Rosa District Attorney. The DA's office said they couldn't represent individuals and suggested we go to small claims. So here I am, a 24 year old living in Los Angeles (I moved shortly after I purchased the car) with a car that needs a new transmission and I still owe $3500 on my loan. Luckily, my girlfriend knows the finance manager at a REPUTABLE car dealership in Van Nuys and I was able to trade the car in and get it paid off by the dealer. B&L should no longer even be in business as I have a strong feeling that I am not the first person they have tried to pull this on. All in all, because of this experience I had with B&L, I will be buying every car for the rest of my life from a major dealership, and not some piece of #@$! crooked private dealer like these people. Please learn from my  mistake and STAY AWAY!!!!

So, they post a Honda Element on their site and mention everything being very good about the car inside and out. But, they are honest enough to mention that the driver's door has a small ding. I appreciated that. I call and ask a couple questions and everything seems fine. No pressure at all. I call a few days later to make sure the car is still there. Somehow they manage to not mention the gaping hole in the driver's seat. I mean it was totally ripped up. The car had an odor and much of the interior was scratched up. Hmmm previous owner had a dog perhaps? I wasted a four hour round trip drive based on their totally misleading description. If you are going to take the trouble to describe the car in detail, be honest. It basically confirmed all my worst fears of buying from a small corner lot. I went and bought a used Certified Element from a dealer. I CAN thank them for the lesson I learned.
