The Dr D'Costa is a wonderful Dr.  However, the answering service is exceptionally RUDE.  They had zero information and rudely hung up on me at the end.

I had the best experience ever with Dr. DeCosta. He was amazing .I was a wreck before surgery and he made me feel so much better and not to worry hes not only a Doctor but is the best I've ever went to . After surgery I had some concerns of my foot bleeding some, and he even took the time to stay at the office after closing to see me and reassure me everything was OK. What Doctor does that these days . None they would make u wait or yet even go to the E.R. . Thank you for letting me share my experience and I recommend Dr. DeCosta #1 .Hes a 10 in my experience.

So completely grateful for the wonderful staff at Northern California Foot and Ankle Center. Dr. D' Costa performed a very difficult, and highly specialized surgery to repair a complete rupture of my plantar plate. I will slowly start the strengthening process now, as an ultra marathon athlete I'm confident I will run again! Thank you so much to my wonderful Dr.! I will be forever grateful. The entire staff is just amazing!

I LOVED THIS PLACE!! I am SOOO glad I choose him and my results so far with my great toe nail removals has been really, REALLY good. I am a huge baby when it comes to ANY kind of pain even though I am an grown woman told him that and he and his staff made SURE I did not suffer with the removal-he has done the left foot and in 2 weeks I will have the right toe done too. I had a terribly infected great toe (that begun about 3 years ago when I recieved a bad pedicure that infected all my toes) it was a direct result of that pedicure and that landed me in the ER at Sutter recently and they referred me to Dr. D'Costa. I would refer him and his staff wholeheartedly-he is a skilled, kind and a very professional doctor and my new " foot guy " for life PLUS he sometimes has cookies he gives to his patients after the procedure!!  His staff is also AWESOME!!!!  Sincerely,  Laurie S.

Before I came to see Walter F. D'Costa, DPM, FAPWCA, I had been told by the podiatrist I was seeing I would never be able to walk for exercise again. I'm 48 years old! Thanks to my mom, she sought out another podiatrist as she also had a horrendous experience that altered her foot, ankle and leg forever. After I witnessed the improvements in my mom's care from Dr. D'Costa, I went to see him regarding my 1 bone spur. Not only do I have 1 bone spur but 3 on the same foot! On my first visit he adjusted my insert, x-ray my foot and discovered the additional bone spurs, and gave me exercises. The pain in my foot was gone within 3 days and I'm walking 2+ miles for exercise. Dr. D'Costa and his team from the office to medical assistants are friendly, caring, listen to my issue, and treat me with respect. I LOVE this office! Thank you for getting me back on my feet!!
