Santa Rosa Behavioral Healthcare Hospital

This hospital is one of the worst places to work or be treated at. The staff are very unprofessional, and the management is very unfair. They terminate employees without due cause, and the working environment is hostile. The mental health patients are treated with no respect or care, and the staff are often indifferent to their struggles. The hospital has no regard for the mental health of their patients, and it seems to be a place of neglect. The facilities are also subpar, and the staff are often understaffed and overworked. Avoid this hospital at all costs, as it is a place of mistreatment and neglect.

My 13 year - old daughter wanted help. She was feeling suicidal. I took her to emergency to have her transported to a mental facility that would do a thorough evaluation and help her. Santa Rosa Behavioral Health Facility did the opposite. The psychiatrist didn't even evaluate her in person, but on Zoom for only a few minutes. He didn't give me any new information about her at all. What's most concerning is that my daughter told me that the staff was extremely negative, rude and made her feel subhuman as if she were a prisoner exactly the opposite of the caring paramedics and medical staff at the hospital who had taken care of her before she arrived. She told me that it felt like a nightmare and she doesn't understand how such a cold staff could be hired to help children. I'm extremely disappointed. Luckily, I was allowed to pick her up after the 72 hour mark even though it wasn't recommended.
