Unfortunately this cantina is unable to be found on google maps, but this is El Infierno Cantina.
El Infierno Cantina is located on the other side of downtown Santa Rosa from Old Courthouse Square. It is close to a Hyatt Regency Hotel as well as La Rosa hotel around the other corner. Theres plenty of restaurants and shops around this area as well. El Infierno Cantina is a hispanic-Mexican cultured bar. They have three sections of the building. The first section is when you first walk in and its the main bar and seating area for snacking on the appetizers they have there. Also, when you first walk in there is a little window you pay the entrance fee which is $20 each person. There are a couple of security guards to pat down any suspicious customers and watch over the crowd of people. They dont have a coat rack. Although the bartenders were nice about putting it behind the bar, I would recommend getting one just to stay better organized and look more professional. There was a set of restrooms on this floor. The second part of the building was where they had the main dance floor and Banda music which is a specific genre type of Mexican music. They had a band playing. There was also a bar here and a lot of tables to sit. Each table had a metal bucket filled with ice and beer. Starting at $40 you can sit at one of these tables and it increases depending on the amount of people with you and the size of the table. The dance floor was big. Then the third and final room there is a small ramp on either side to get there. This has more Mexican hip hop and pop music, less traditional. This one was a little less popular since it did seem for more of a younger crowd. There was a special VIP seating that you can rent out for special occasions or if you want to have your private space with your group. The third floor is also where they have a second set of restrooms. As for the drinks you can either order at the bar or wait around and there are beautiful waitresses awaiting to serve you. I think this place came off as a lot of fun, but if youre not Hispanic or super into the culture I think you can feel a bit out of place because it is very focused on that, but that doesnt mean anyone isnt welcome. I also think its over priced since you cant really sit down unless you pay or if youre on the third floor which the night I went was dead in there. The entrance was also pricey.
