My daughter has always been very shy, I was positive it was inhibiting her learning capabilities. At PolyTot.... She has been given an unforgettable experience, and, mainly, the confidence she has needed to excel. Be it the personalized attention, or the fact that, in just a few short months my daughter is now bilingual! Maybe its the responsibility they have instilled in her, as she enjoys tending to the many animals at school, all I know is her confidence, and academics, has shot through the roof! It was a hard decision to change schools on her, but I know now that I have made the best decision I could for my daughter. I only wish they went through High School!

After being with my son for his first year it was not easy to find a school that we trusted. I immediately loved Polytot after my first visit. Senor Marc was friendly and very informative. The classroom was well organized, clean and the Montessori curriculum sounded extremely appealing. Our son is 20 months and since he has began Polytot, a few months ago, he is now reciting his numbers from 1-10 in English and in Spanish. His social skills are improving everyday and he enjoys going to school, which was a bit challenging at first. I would recommend this school if you are looking for a constructivist or "discovery" model, where students learn concepts from working with materials, rather than by direct instruction and freedom of movement within the classroom by a trained Montessori teacher.

After reading the reviews of this "school" I decided to have a look. After driving up the driveway I saw very quickly that it was an accident waiting to happen. There were skate board ramps, a trampoline, and construction equipment with no one around to stop children from climbing on any of it or leaving the back yard of this house. It is a house with a back yard and not a campus as it appears on the website. To my mind there are too many little buildings with drawn curtains and places where a child could easily disappear from view. There is one man who says he's running the place alone, I didn't get the feeling he was very nurturing and is more focused on the money he is going to be collecting from you than children. There are far better places in the area to bring a child to and properly staffed by people who have some experience. From what I was able to make out this is the only time the owner has ever attempted to run a day care or anything like it. I read and was told that he is an educated man but have to wonder why he has chosen to basically be a well paid babysitter by himself in the backyard of his house.

I started bringing my daughter to Polytot in early November and all I can say is wow. I feel so lucky and privileged to have found Polytot in time before they were all full. In my view, their offer of a combination of Montessori based education combined with a free spirited and laissez-faire approach to childhood - allowing for a lot of free play, imagination and creativity - is perfect. And all of it takes place in Spanish. I am picking up some Spanish too by the way because the teachers only speaks Spanish. I am so happy that my daughter gets to be a child, explore nature, she plants, waters and cares for fruit and vegetable plants, she can touch and care for chickens, guinea pigs and rabbits, she spends a good part of the day outside, learning and playing, she is learning how to ride a bike (a gift from Heaven for me as a single mother who would't know where to start on teaching that) ... and i love the free creative play she can have with friends and classmates the rest of the time!!! And without her noticing it she is exposed to other cultures and another language - which she is picking up remarkably fast by the way). For me this is all that I could wish for for my daughter and from the moment of stepping out of my car I have not had a single hesitation that my daughter will prosper here.
