Pacific Dining Car has served delectable delights since 1921. The ambience is regal, comfortable and elegant. Steeped in tradition, the service is impeccable. Appetizers of duck pate & kale salad, next we enjoyed a perfectly prepared medium rare steak, lobster, scallops and shrimp served with greens and cajun rice. We had the audacity to order the decadent bread pudding and sumptuous moist chocolate cake for dessert. To stuffed to exit, we lingered over a fresh brewed deep roasted cup of java. Pacific Dining Car is a "lost art" in LA. Open 24 hours & still serves the best breakfast @ 2am. An epicurean delight!

Beautiful restaurant. I felt like I stepped in a scene from the Godfather. They made me an offer I couldn't refuse, an excellent medium rare steak with a delicious black pepper sauce. The bread they serve is so crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. There's no excuse not to visit, since they are open 24/7

We came here for Xmas Eve Prix Fixe Dinner. It was the best! Great service, not rushed. and the price was worth it. I have also been to their bar and ordered a few late night snacks. Pacific Dining Car is open 24/7 and it is not a diner, but rather a fine dining place!
