Everything on their menu is excellent. You're paying for quality of food and service. The staff is very friendly, professional, and attentive; they always make sure my glass of wine is never empty. Furthermore, the atmosphere is quiet and mellow; perfect, if you don't like to shout at everyone you talk to.

We returned to Piccolo and it seems to get better every time we visit. The selection of Italian wines by the glass is great and reasonable. We shared the radicchio salad which was dressed perfectly and garnished with special cheese and a rare salt on top. Very unusual. My partner had the pasta special which was incredible. The black in pasta with clams was one of the best dishes we have enjoyed in Santa Monica. I had the grilled lamb sirloin that was equally spectacular. All the deserts looked wonderful and we selected the tiramisu which exceeded our expectations. The entire staff is wonderful and helpful and the outside patio just lovely.

Food was delicious, everything comes at a price nothing, even bread and dip. It's worth if you can spend $50 per person min.
