Arrived at the house and the owner was there saying we can only check in the next day. TurnKey said say will find another house for the first night but never retuned to us. At 8pm they would just hung up on our calls. Still trying to get a refund for the hotel we had to book last minute. Never ever gain TurnKey.

Rented a property managed by Turnkey vacation properties in Lake Tahoe. Property and roads leading to the property and area were deemed unsafe for travel and shut down so there was no way to reach the home. Contacted Turnkey vacation rentals and was told this was not their problem and would not refund any amount including cleaning fees for property unused even though their property was unsafe for approach for the entire duration of the stay. Unacceptable customer care and endangerment of travelers. Would avoid any dealings with this company moving forward.

The Property is located at a great location, you get full view of the sea and santa cruz beach boardwalk. All the kitchen and toiletry essentials are there. However there were quite few offs like the Dishwasher was unclean and we had clean ourselves and there were infact spiders in one of the rooms. I would suggest the owner to do regular inspections at the property.

We arrived to our rental, and the man who met us was great. The rental was a little frayed around the edges, but, ok, its a rental, I get it. There was a problem with the AC, but it hadnt said there was AC, so we propped up the DIYd arrangement (which fell down repeatedly) and decided to look at it as a bonus. We called to ask if someone could come put it right because as it was it was a bit of a security risk, then the toilet had problems, and a light was out, and the ceiling fan hadnt been cleaned in eons. I reported each of these via text to Turnkey and was asked if I wanted someone to come fix it. I said yes. In a text. They never came, we were there a week. I called two days before we left asking them why no one had come and the guy on the phone acted like hed never heard from me before, although I had been texting with him regularly. I clarified to make sure it was the same person. Then through my own stupidity and not being able to count - we were due to leave a day before I thought we had to, the apartment was available, not having another guest for 2 days, and I asked if we could book that night. They said no, because their policy was a 2 day min stay, and when I called it was 11:30 and check out was at 11, so I was technically checked out. So, because of a policy that a manager could have easily overridden, they lost their client a nights stay, and my business ever again. I will never rent from any property managed by them again. Tl;dr - maintenance unresponsive, customer service bad enough to never rent anything managed by them again.

Rented a place in South Lake Tahoe for our moms 80th birthday party and am still here. When I walked into my rental unit 3 days ago this was the first thing my wife and I saw and yes thats blood on a pillow ,we called to have this hauled away and was told they would get on it , well its still here. On Friday morning a man snooped outside our condo. literally was outside our bedroom window in the back of our unit when my wife opened the blinds. He finally ended up going into unit C next to us about 30 later. It was really uncomfortable. They have cameras to prove everything Im saying is true because they called me to pay a pet fee for what they told me would be $200 but charged my card $263 and when I called to dispute that I was on hold for 15 minutes. I gave up and will never use them again. I dont complain and usually know things arent perfect but this was a weird creepy trip.
