Eye Medical Group Of Santa Cruz

I have been super disappointed in my care here. I had a stye for over a year and kept being prescribed antibiotics and hot compresses. After another round of antibiotics I was told to call back and schedule surgery by doctor Babad, but when I called they said they didnt have the equipment for it and referred me to another place which also did not have the equipment. They referred me elsewhere and I now have to start the process all over again. I spent $165 in copays here to not have the issue resolved and to be treated dismissively. I wish I could get my money back. I took off work time to go here just to have the same exact issue a full year later. Truly recommend going elsewhere for your care.

Excellent eye clinic! Both doctors here are very professional and very thorough. It is an older building, but they keep it very clean and neat. I felt well cared for here and would definitely go back.

This office & practice was really great to me! I was able to get in as a new patient in just a couple weeks. The staff was very friendly, and Dr. Babad was very kind and answered any questions that I had. The whole visit was very quick and easy:) Thank you Eye Medical Group!

Thay told me my appointment was at 10:30 Get there for my appointment and they say it was at 10 and I know it was at 10:30 and then they say we can't see u today any more we can't do anything Had been taking to them for weeks about this, had written the time soon as I got the appointment and was talking to them the previous day from my appointment confirming the date and time.

I had an appointment for my daughter today, 7-3-2023. I had gotten confused about the doctors location. Another doctors office helped me locate the office by calling them. The OPTOMETRIST HERSELF didn't take the time to listen. I drove over to the office and was told I missed my appointment time. And that it was at 3:00... and I KNOW IT WAS AT 3:30. THE DR. HERSELF RAN TO THE BACK ROOM. I told the receptionist my mother had LITERALLY just passed, and I had been under so much stress..... THEY BLAMED ME, FINE! BUT TO BE SO DISMISSIVE TO HELP A CHILD?!?!? INSANE!. THE OLDER GENTLEMAN HAD BEEN MY DAUGHTERS FIRST EYE DOCTOR. AND WAS SO KIND AND NICE. I THOUGHT THE PRACTICE SHUT DOWN. I WENT THERE ON JUNE 19TH AND PARKED AND GOT OUT. KNOCKED ON THE DOOR. AND NO ONE EVER ANSWERED... I FIGURE AS I ASSUMED.... IT HAD SHUT DOWN WELL, I WISH THE OLDER GENTLEMAN WAS STILL THERE.... I WOULDNT GO BACK THERE EVEN IF I WAS GOING BLIND! OH! I HAVE CENTRAL COAST ALLIANCE AND FELT A WAY ABOUT HOW I WAS TREATED... BUT SEEMS, THEY DO IT TO THE ELDER WITH POSSIBLE MEDICARE ... NEVER GOING BACK
