Budget Truck Rental

So many reasons not to rent here. This is not even the location for renting a truck, they moved across town & didnt bother telling me when I called the morning of my pickup. Terrible customer service. The guy was on a personal call the whole time I was picking up. I was told I needed to remove my car from the property & leave it on the street. The truck has the check engine light on & I was told not to worry about it as its been on for many days. Theres no back up camera in the truck. I could go on & on as to why I had a bad experience here, but at some point its just obvious - dont rent here.

Very bad rental policy.
When you make a reservation, their policy states that the availability of the truck is not guaranteed, while you'll still be charged $75 for such a "reservation" if the cancelation happens within 2 days before the pick up date.
This is not reasonable. You either ensure the availability of the truck for the reservation, or you should not charge the cancellation, you can not do both.

Do not trust Budget. They canceled my reservation the day before my move and offered me no alternatives. U haul was sold out (and were up front about it, thankfully) so I was forced to spend $600 more for a last minute Pennske reservation 30 miles away. Budget is not an ethically run company.
