This is the worst place ever! Providers and those working within the internal medicine department really dont care! Went into an appointment that I was told I would only go in for if I would be able to get care (testing), if not my pcp would refer me to dermatology. I went to the appointment and was basically told they couldnt do anything for ME to contact dermatology myself. There was no point of going to this visit, a complete waste of time! I couldve been told this over the phone. Then the Dr didnt want to tell me who scheduled my appointment and misinformed me (it was directly from internal medicine). So unprofessional!

This one star is to their billing department. With the same insurance, nothing changed, they were able to submit a claim for services to me in March, then they are not able to verify my coverage with the insurance for my Jun. appt.

They can never find appointment when there is an urgent need.

Was told I wasnt going to be billed for my first appointment (evaluation for shoulder injury and annual check-up). I ended up getting a large bill and the doctor didnt schedule enough time to do my annual check up while I was there because of bad communication between the front desk so Id have to schedule another appointment. Didnt spend enough time in the evaluation to recommend a sling for what turned out to be a separated shoulder. That was enough for 1star in my book but I find myself continuing to find reasons I wish I had picked a different doctor. Discouraged from looking at treatment/evaluation options at other places as it slows the process down but its because they are disorganized and struggle to communicate with other offices. If you dont fax over the patients order for treatment and argue with their reasoning to seek medical help at an unrelated/affordable partyya, the process is going to take longer. Took close to a week and multiple calls with Pablo alto medical center to get an x-ray order sent. Ive spent 6+ hours on phone with this hospitals billing department, front desk, customer serviceand others. End of the dayIm poorer, older, still injured, and frustrated. Feel bad about the 1 star, given the health care industry, but its 100% deserved.
