TLC Tree Service

We had four trees that needed serious help from a qualified tree expert. We decided on the TLC Tree Services for their knowledge and proven skills. The trees we had were two Chinese Elms, and one Oak tree and other assorted small trees. The elms and oak trees are over 100 feet tall. All trees had been pretty much mangled by our piecemeal attempts to keep them under control. The elms were more than 50 years old and were threatening to fall on the house. The oak was threatening to fall on the neighbor’s house. I thought perhaps they would have to be taken out entirely. Gene Tyburn of TLC Tree Services assured me that they could save the trees and make them safe from the next big windstorm. His crew came in and cleaned out the limbs at the highest branches. They cleaned up the cracks and performed other surgery using cables and trimming. He saved a favorite plum tree that I swore was a goner. He cleaned up the Macadamia nut tree. The trees look beautiful and are thoroughly safe in the event of large windstorms. I was perfectly satisfied with the work that the TLC crew did.

TLC Tree Service was a life saver! My tree was diseased and on the verge of dying. Mr Tyburn and crew rejuvenated this old friend into a beautiful neighborhood landmark! Great Work, informative and very professional! I highly recommend TLC Trees of Santa Barbara to all my friends and especially those who have beautiful Oak Trees on their property! I have worked with many of the big tree companies in town and can say with certainty that Gene Tyburn and his crew are the most dedicated and knowledgeable of them all. Gene acted quickly to save a 80-yr old pine tree over my home from bark beetle and drought stress. In addition he has improved the healthy and look of all the trees on my property with minimal water and pest treatment. I would highly recommend his services for trimming and especially for care and rehabilitation of stressed or critical trees on your property.

Gene Tyburn is a first-class arborist. His crew is well-trained, efficient and accommodating. Mr. Tyburn’s knowledge and expertise has proven to be extremely valuable during the nearly thirty years he has taken care of the trees on our property in Montecito. I recommend his company, TLC Tree Services, without reservation. And, by they way, whoever posted that review from five years ago must be delusional.
