      image Started off ok, but subsequent visits we were frequently seen by a physicians assistant, not the orthopedic specialist. They never answer the phone and do not return repeated messages asking for a call back. Recently, they scheduled a followup but did not get the authorization from the primary care physician and did not communicate to us a need, until we showed up for the appointment. Then they refused to see us after collecting a co-pay. Good luck getting a refund when they dont answer the phone or respond to messages!

      I am sorry you had the experience you describe. Our PA has an outstanding reputation and your child was seen by her only once in the past when the doctor had to attend to an emergency at the ER. Our policy allows any family to request to see the doctor on the date of their visit. In addition , the type of insurance such as an HMO can be confusing to patients regarding the authorization. We apologize for any miscommunication and inconvenience this may have caused. We will be in contact with you to discuss this matter further.

      image We had a very pleasant experience at Dr. Maguire's office for our six-month-old baby. Dr. Maguire was on time. He was professional, yet kind and showed concern for our baby. He assured us that there was nothing to be concerned about. His staff members were also very pleasant and kind.
