Thus was such a great experience. My family and I had a great horse ride around the property.

The owner of this place, Sadie, started sending me messages on yelp, threatening me to change my review. Then she found me on facebook, started harassing me there and was being insulting. Not professional at all.

My daughter has been riding with Sadie for the 2 1/2 years now but am just now writing a review because a) I feel I have enough background at this point to share an informed review, and b) I see some negative reviews that confuse me. RP was recommended to me by another parent at my daughters school and I was taken with RP immediately. Sadie loves her animals, and passes that love and respect on to the kids. While my daughter is not required to muck or feed, she loves taking part in these essential activities which are part of the whole horse experience. Caring for the horses is a beautiful thing and it has created such a  bond between my daughter and all the horses, even the ones she doesn't ride. This, as well as all the general horse-care instructions Sadie imparts is what has made my daughter so comfortable on and around horses. I have shared RP with 3 other families that have all had great experiences with Sadie. RP is a small, family-run organization. As I see it, they are providing the community with a wonderful service: the chance for kids to learn horsemanship and riding skills without spending a fortune. As a former horse owner, I know Sadie is not making money off RP. She's doing it because she wants to share her love of animals/horses with kids. That is exactly what she's done with my daughter and I am so grateful to have a place like this in SB.

This was a great find as my daughter got to ride a horse and my son got to do archery.  Both Heather and George were great!

This is our second year at this camp! What an amazing opportunity for our children. I have a 7 year old that doesn't ever want to come home. She has even done 4 nights of the sleepaways too. What I love is that the owners have a passion to share nature, horses and cultural arts and experiences outdoors.  These activities happen daily. My daughter has learned to care for a horse, basic horseback riding skills, putting saddles on etc..  The owner has been very flexible with my schedule to make sure we could attend camp. Recently they relocated, to a larger spot and with little to no time before summer she still made summer camp happen.  While the grounds are not green grasses and the several million dollar set up, the owner has been able to offer this experience that would be difficult to match.  I haven't seen nor would they allow pets like dogs etc.  We are informed that pets would scare the horses.  Since this is a one woman show, I commend her work, commitment and ability to offer this. We will continue to come during the school year for afterschool programs. Come support this camp.
