I was in a tough spot and Kraig really helped me out. I had a stripped bolt head on my brake caliper mount. After trying for several hours to remove it, I ended up making it worse. I called Kraig and although he was super busy he made time to stop by and help me by welding a nut on the stripped bolt head. The bolt came off and I was able to finish the job thanks to Kraig!

What a Great find, Kraig is an incredibly skilled craftsman. My Jeep had a Catastrophic failure on a Tracbar Bracket. Kraig was able to do it quickly and at a fair price. He came to me and allowed me to assist in getting it just right. Truthfully this job was well below his ability but it was done right and gives me piece of mind.

I had Kraig fabricate and weld some seat brackets for my Pontiac muscle car. He was easy to work with and knew exactly what I needed. His work was excellent and was very concerned with my satisfaction during the process. I would use him again and highly recommend him to anyone else.

Just like you reading this I needed something welded and needed someone mobile and found Kraig. The reviews looked favorable so I gave him a shot, scheduled a job for Sunday morning at 9am. I tried to confirm the night before which he didn't reply to but he did call me in the morning and said he was on the way but didn't have gas money (red flag #1). Close to the appointment time he cannot find the address because he does not have navigation. Not sure what the story is with that but I had to drive out to find him a few blocks away, I won't count this as a red flag, but I do think it's a bit weird. He starts the job, which is simply to add a receiver hitch to my RV trailer for bikes. Pretty straight forward job. We talked about where to mount it and how to support it and I agreed with his suggestions. He starts the job and says if I can pick up some spray paint he will also paint it for me, I figured ok. Came back and he asks if I can go get some gas for his generator and a Dr. Pepper as he was thirsty. OK I thought this should be red flag #2 because who comes to a job unprepared? Anyway I gave Kraig the paint and headed back out for the gas and his drink. When I get back I find Kraig spray painting plates on the bare concrete. I almost couldn't believe my eyes, who the hell does that! I told him that was not ok, and he said it was a mistake and he would correct it. Another review mentioned about him being on something and at this point I'm going to agree with that reviewer. This should be the red flag to just cancel the job but I let him continue as he promised to clean it. Hours after hours passed, we were working in an industrial lot where the trailer was stored and I sat in my car waiting. I would occasionally go check on his progress and found him using the dr. Pepper to put out the small fires the welding would cause. Again who does that? Long story short he finishes at 4pm, 7 hours later. I check the work and he tried to cover the sloppy welds with paint, not only that there was paint splatter on the rear of my brand new trailer. Later he tried to take an orbital brush to clean up the welds and also the paint on the floor, but by then I was completely over it. The only saving grace here is Kraig is personable and friendly, its just the job he does is sloppy and although I wish I could say rushed, obviously took a lot longer than it should have. So hopefully these welds will hold up, but only two stars for Kraig because this job definitely could have been better.
