Ismael and his team were by far the best contractor I've worked with while remodeling. They provided a fair quote, communicated well throughout the duration of the job, were on time and my floors look more amazing than I imagined they would. "Let's just tear our floors out and put down vinyl."That was the last thing I told my wife before we called IR, and let me tell you, I'm glad we called! My wife and I  had recently bought our house, and when I ripped out all the carpet I discovered wood floors. Neglected, damaged, patched wood floors. We had termite damage, stains, and areas where the flooring had been cut out and replaced with plywood. Everyone we had talked to had pretty much told us that our floors were a lost cause, and that we should just replace it. We almost went that route, but we decided to contact IR. Ismael came over that very same day, checked out our floors, and assured us that there was treasure under the layer of neglect that we were staring at. He was also honest, and told us that because of the excessive character our floor had, we could choose to go with a darker stain if we decided we wanted to hide any imperfections that were uncovered. No need though! His crew showed up day one, sanded down the floors, worked quickly to do all the repairs that were needed, and left us with great looking natural floors. I'm telling you, whether you have great looking floors that need a little attention or older floors with "excessive character" that you're ready to give up on, give these guys a call. You'll be sorry...but only that you didn't call them sooner. Good communication, great pricing, and even better work!

Ismael just left my house after stopping by to look at my hardwood flooring.He is so knowledgable and more important a man of integrity, which I find rare when hiring people for projects on my house.  He knew how old the flooring was and pointed out the character of the floor and said it looked good to him. He solved a mystery of the house by pointing out exactly where the house was added on and said it was added on within 2 decades ,but not original to the house. He is a floor detective!  He placed his feet on a part of the floor and rocked back and forth and said see this is the add on spot.  Once I saw it, I could see it clearly, but it had to be pointed out to me by the  forensic flooring expert!  Mystery solved after 28 years.  I am 76 and would have to have all of my furniture moved out. He said he would be glad  to do the job, but didn't really think floors needed it. I loved him!!  Considering all the upset to my house and time just to fix a few worn places didn't seem necessary to him.  He said I should get a bigger front entrance rug!  He knew I am retired and on a budget.  Getting out the floor cleaner now! You can not go wrong with IR Hardwood Flooring.

Ismael and his team saved the day. They were able to respond extremely fast and fix the mistakes made by a previous contractor. IR Hardwood Flooring completed the job of refinishing our 1940's red oak hardwood with amazing speed. Our floors look brand new!We talked to many flooring contractors and decided to hire Ismael because he impressed us with his knowledge and his ability to customize his services to fit in with our schedule and needs. He communicated clear expectations and timelines throughout the entire process. Everything went even better than we planned. We're impressed with the finished floors, but we're also very impressed by the cleanliness, punctuality, and friendliness we experienced with Ismael and his team. We have more flooring projects planned for the future and we will be hiring IR Hardwood Flooring for all of them!
