John Beno is the first lender I think of whenever I need any mortgage advice. Hes helped me secure a mortgage for two separate home purchases in the bay area So take it from a repeat customer, John is a very reliable mortgage broker to know! I work in the consulting business, so being self-employed has its challenges when it comes to funding, but John was very efficient and did Extremely Well (Both times) To find the right mortgage for me. He is very thorough and gets things done. Last time out, we were actually approved faster than we needed to be, and even with the current market conditions, he locked in a great rate for us too! From what I have experienced, Hes the best lender for self-employed folks like me.

I own rental properties and needed to refinance a non-owner-occupied home, which can be tricky for folks in real estate, but John was up to the challenge and dug deep to get me approved for a conventional refi. John Benno first helped me back in 2020 with getting approved for a mortgage on a home purchase in northern California, then again just last month when he helped with a home equity line of credit to restructure some personal debt. Two very different needs which he knocked out of the park, both times. For each situation, John concisely laid out what he needed from me, then presented the best options to determine the ideal fit for my specific financial requirements.
