I have found Selma to be very knowledgable and astute.   I initially sought her support for  struggles I was having with my teen.  As our work progressed her intuition and flexibility with hypnosis really impressed me.  As a single mother with financial challenges Selma helped me re-write the scripts I had running around my financial fitness.  Her deep concern and empathy helped me feel comfortable and relaxed.  I highly recommend her! Selma is WONDERFUL. She puts you at ease immediately and has a soothing effect with the way she speaks, the way she LISTENS and how keenly perceptive she is. Her combined technique of hypnotherapy and psychotherapy sets her apart from other therapists, but it is the deep, genuine concern she expresses and the way she gently guides your sessions so that you have no doubt your health and well-being are of the utmost importance to her. Selma takes even the smallest or silliest sounding issue to heart and treats you with such respect, you can't help but leave a session feeling like you can meet any challenge life throws your way...and then some!

Selma is an amazing hypnotherapist! I've sought her help over the years and always came out of my sessions with more confidence and a solution to my problems.Most of the time, she's helped me calm my fears about sleep issues by taking me on a hypnotic journey under the sea to remind me of the tranquility of scuba diving -- our shared passion. She's even made audio cassettes that I can hear when I need a consult. Selma really is "as good as it gets! " I was fortunate to find Selma when I had a steroid injection in my lumbar spine.  The side effects of the steroids were so bad, I had difficulty functioning day to day as well as difficulty concentrating.  Selma was able to discuss what was happening, took time to understand what was bothering me the most, and then, with great patience, was able to provide me with a guided imagery to alleviate my discomfort and used hypnotherapy to help me function better despite my unfortunate  reaction to the steroids.Selma is a very strong, yet gentle woman who is not only very effective, but she obviously cares.  My visits with Selma have deeply enriched my life, and allowed me to get through a very difficult time.  I was given a copy of the CD from the hypnotherapy session so I could listen to it every evening before bed.If you are interested in learning about yourself, want to learn a specific skill, or quit a specific behavior, Selma is as good as it gets!My life has been enriched through my communications with Selma.
