The owner is mean to his workers he's mean to customers he also told me that I don't have to pay taxes if I give hem cash the shop smells funny the boss even told me that he sleeps back there he keeps saying "bring me MORE COLLEGES GIRLS" he even blames all the problems on his workers and he is also never there and when he's there he smells like he just got gone smoking a pack of cigs ever hr

Super silver truly is a gem of SLO. Well the jewelry anyways. The owner is an angry old man who will upsale anyone he sees unwise. Ive also seen him scold his employees for absolutely nothing. Hes even scolded customers. I didnt notice it until I read another review but he does only hire very young attractive women, I have never once seen a man behind that counter in my 16 years living in slo. The owner charges way too much money for his silver, hes verbally abusive, and a creep to say the least. Dont waste your money at this establishment, let them go under

Awful, awful, awful owner. Abusive toward his own employees. I walked in to try on a ring and the owner scolded her in front of his customers for leaving her work to help me. She was on the verge of tears when I left. Owner also only employs women, and is a notorious creep. Yes, Super Silver has a wide selection and great prices, especially for students, but I'm never coming back.

George is the owner of this amazing little shop and hes a dope mf I love his voice the head manager is also very nice and is always fun to haggle with for the best price they have tons of silver jewelry that I love I highly recommend

Mixed feelings about this store. I've been going there since it opened (ownership has transferred once and then back to original owner). I have lots of jewelry from there and almost all of it has lasted for years. There was only pendant where the abalone shell fell out. The quality seems good. I am super rough on jewelry and so far so good. The owner has been nice and most of the employees. The vibe is mixed. Sometimes when I go, the staff is dressed professionally and sometimes not so much. Recently when I went in someone was burning incense and the smell was so strong I almost left. Another time the music was so loud I could barely hear the employee when she was talking to me. They have a large inventory so if you want a large selection, you will be happy. I have over 40 pieces from there and they are nice. One thing to note, the prices vary lots depending on who you get helping you. I've gotten a price for a ring for $35 and then on a different day I am told that it is $85. (same ring different day). If you are patient you can get a reasonable price. It may be worth your time to check in on different days. I guess to sum it up, the quality is consistently great, atmosphere and prices? Not so much. Will continue to shop here.
