With regard to the SLO location:
They're only open M-F between 7:30 & noon. They're closed on the weekend. You have go in by 10 or 10:30 am for STAT orders, or you're out of luck (not sure if they've changed the time again). They've changed the STAT time cut-off several times on me.
When I first started going there, they said "Be here by noon for STATs because they go to Goleta". I got there at 11:30 one day and they said, "Oh no, you have to be here by 11 now." So the next time, I got there at 10:45. They said, "No, you need to be here by 10:30 now." Ugh. I've finally had it with this lab!!
The people who work there are so very nice, but the way the business is ran is beyond my comprehension. I'm switching back to a local lab that I've used a lot in the past, who run their labs locally and who truly puts customers first.
