Ive been with T-Mobile for more than 11 years, and today when I tried to upgrade a phone to a 14 Pro Max, Tim, the store manager, tried to condition me to buy an IPad or an Apple Watch in order to process the upgrade. I told him I had called customer service before and they told me I didnt need to buy anything else from the store. I told Tim that and he said those were instructions from his superior due to inventory constraints. I told him I was going to call customer service again and shared my experience, and he only said to have fun with it. Bad experience; hes trying to make a sales quota or something. I went to a different store here in town, and I was taken care of without any conditions to buy something else. Go somewhere else.

They tricked me and lied to me, made me pay way more than I thought I was going to. Tim was trying to help 2 customers at once, which made it very hard for me to understand what he was telling me. He then talked me into buying a Galaxy Watch(DO NOT BUY) Said it was only $25, then had me pay $329, when I went in later to confront him about he shrugged it off and said that I payed full price upfront you will only really be paying $25 and the rest will be ReCredited to you account OVER A 24 MONTH PERIOD. That is ridiculous he basically tricked me into giving them a $300 loan.

I have never been discriminated against, treated so poorly, shamed, humiliated, or bullied by anyone like this in all of my life, let alone by a Store Manager!!! My experience listed below may be a long one, but it's an important one for anyone that suffers from disabilities and expects to be treated with dignity by the T-Mobile on broom ranch way. Something as simple as a screen replacement shouldn't mean making me wait outside in the cold windy weather without anywhere to sit (I wear multiple braces every moment I'm awake to just even standup for more than 30 seconds). When I came in to have my screen protector installed,. I asked for the most experienced installer, explaining that I am diagnosed with the OCD sub-type "Just Right," when they've previously installed screen protectors and left dust behind,, I wasn't able to concentrate on or think of anything else but the dust under the screen whenever I use my phone. After the store manager, Tim, installed the new protector, leaving a lot of dust behind, he insisted that that the new one T-Mobile shipped was defective with a glue separation and "filled with debris" (likely just not wanting to admit he messed up), but refused to order a replacement because "that's how policy works, only cracked replacements can be replaced (though I've had a previous replacement at another store when the previous tech made the same install dust mistake - no crack anywhere in sight!). A few minutes later I quipped "ok, well I'll come back in an hour when it breaks again." The timeline of an hour was certainly an exaggeration. What was not an exaggeration was knowing that I knew I'd end up dropping my phone at some point that day, and most subsique days - in addition to my mental disabilities, I have multiple physical disabilities including a connective tissue disorder causing ligament "stretchiness" everywhere in my body. Because of this, I have extreme weakness in my hands and arthritis so bad that surgery is needed ASAP. I wasn't given even a moment to explain any of my physical limitations. He immediately stood up and said "your comment amounts to insurance fraud and because of that I don't have to serve you, and you are not welcome at this store any longer. I was stunned, and honestly thought he was joking, untill he got up and went inside of the store (remember, this whole time, if I wanted service, I had to STAND outside on my increasingly painful joints). After a few minutes of gather my bearings, I went inside to clarify the situation. I started with "before I do anything like call corporate or leave a review, I'd like to explain myself." He refused to let me say another word, cutting me off every time I opened my mouth, continuing to increase in volume and intensity. When I finally was able to cut in and explaining my disabilities, he loudly cut me off saying "I care how you want to try and justify, you're trying to commit fraud! I tried i stay as calm as I could, saying "I will leave and not come back, but will also report you for discrimination against the disabled." He raised his voice yet again and said "go ahead I will call the police and report you for harassment and trespassing!" I left, won't go back, hope you never go in the first place! I have no idea how something so straightforward as a defective screen replacement could lead to more hostility, aggression, and discrimination than I've ever experienced! If anyone does read this review, I hope that the underlying hurt I experienced can somehow make it's way back to the store manager, Tim, and helps him find a way to learn tolerance, acceptance, and respect for everyone, regardless if they're disabled or not. -Jonah P. S. If you do plan on going to the T-Mobile on From Ranch Way, make sure you can handle conducting your business standing outside. As Tim insisted when I first arrived, "We need need to head outside, the cameras are watching and if you're inside for more than 4 minutes, I have to try and sell you a cell phone (even if you actually want to buy something).
