Changing my review to 3 stars. Unfortunately our relationship with Kahoo has changed and we just had a messy break up.
This place has good ramen, however their service has changed as has their menu, it's more limited than it was before the pandemic. My family and friends have been frequent flyers to this restaurant for many years. One of us has several food allergies and Kahoo's previous menu had one item on it that we could eat, and the staff was always kind enough to accommodate us. The servers new our names and our orders, that's how frequently we came. We were devastated when they shut down, but twice as estatic when they opened again. Unfortunately when they reopened, they no longer had the menu item one of us could eat. We spoke with the manager and they allowed us to bring outside food for one person in our group. They said no problem. We did that for several months until today. The waitresse who served us told us we could not have food, and one family member was left out while everyone else ate. This wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't for the many year relationship we had forged with Kahoo previously. It hurts. Don't come here if you want connection, and don't come here if you have food allergies.

UPDATED REVIEW:
I was so thrilled to see Kahoo reopen after it closed during the lockdowns. My elation has somewhat diminished after trying it out again. Apparently the restaurant changed ownership during the closure and of course many things have changed, not all of them for the better...good news is the staff is still super friendly and the available ramen is pretty decent. The Karaage is still way fire, but the tonkatsu on the "Ultimate" ramen is bland and doesn't stand up to the flavors in the broth.
The Good changes:
-Offers takeout finally!
-Simplified menu
-Refreshed decor (cleaner!)
-Kid friendly tableware
Less good changes:
-Only Miso (no other broth variety)
-No gyoza!?
-No kakuni!?!?
-Bottled beer at extortionist prices.
Overall: Still pretty good but the recipe and menu changes leave this far from what it was.
