        I have lived in Villa Veneto over ten years and since Essex properties took over ownership the complex has gone downhill. The grounds are not properly maintained. They rarely answer their phones when you need to speak to someone about a problem and lastly we have had to endure a paint job that has been handled poorly over the last two months. When they power washed they got water all in our units. Then they painted and repainted the doors before painting he exterior walls. Lastly they have forced residents to take everything off their patios for more than two months. So we are paying a high rent for a patio that we cannot use. They also are notorious for raising the rent every year. The company is more interested in profits than maintaining the integrity of the complex. If I had to do it over again I would not rent here.
